These versatile popover shirts, available with long or short sleeves, are thoughtfully designed for both style and ease. They feature a half placket for a relaxed look and easy wear, along with dropped shoulders and a back yoke that provide a comfortable, slightly oversized fit. A single patch chest pocket with a flap and button closure adds a practical and polished detail.

View A includes a simple collar band for a clean, modern finish, as well as side slits at the hem for added movement and layering ease. View B offers a more structured look, with full-length sleeves featuring a continuous lap opening, buttoned cuffs, and a traditional collar with a collar stand for added shape and formality.

The coordinating shorts and trousers are tailored yet practical, featuring front pleats and back darts to enhance fit and shape. The waistband includes belt loops and a neat tab closure for a refined finish. Side pockets provide function, while a faux back welt pocket on the right side adds a tailored touch without the bulk. These garments combine classic design elements with everyday wearability, making them a great addition to any handmade wardrobe.

Fabric will be folded and sent in a satchel unless we deem it to be too bulky, we will send it on rolls.
Our cut off time for same day dispatch is 10:00 AM. Express Shipping option must be selected before 10:00 AM to receive same day dispatch.

Australia:
Free Shipping over $99 on all Australian orders sent with our standard delivery service by Australia Post. Please note orders may take up to 1 to 7 business days to arrive. All shipping times are inclusive of handling time.

Australia Post is used for our domestic shipping with two shipping options:

You will receive an order tracking number through Australia Post, Couriers Please or Ready To Ship once your order has been dispatched.

Please check your spam folder of your email account - it may be in there.

Fabric Care Instructions

How to care for your fabric

 

Our fabric is special and needs to be cared for correctly. Our guidelines are here to help you care for your beautiful new fabrics. We recommend that you prewash any fabrics made from natural fibres as some shrinkage may occur in the same way you plan to wash and dry your future creation. Wash bright and light colours separately as some colours may run in the first few times they are washed. 

Please note, these care instructions are guidelines only and variations will apply to some fabrics. For fabrics such as sequins, beaded, coated, foiled fabrics and delicate items special washing instructions will apply. If you have any questions please contact us. We recommend that you follow our fabric prewash and care instruction guidelines as outlined below as we are unable to accept claims on fabrics which have been laundered incorrectly. 

Acetate

Drycleanable. Warm machine wash or hand wash with like colours in warm water. Do not soak colour items. Do not twist or wring. Warm iron. Do not tumble dry.

Cotton

Drycleanable. Machine washable. Bleach may be used on white cotton. Line or tumble dry. Use a warm to hot iron.

Faux Leather 

Hand wash with Gentle Detergent in cold to warm water. Air-dry. Condition to prevent cracking. Do not iron.  

 

Wool

Dry clean only. For woven garments only brush, using a soft garment brush, brush garments lengthwise after wearing to remove surface soil. Hang wovens. Use cool iron, steam when pressing.

Linen

Cool handwash or gentle machine wash. Wash colours separately. Do not wring. Tumble dry on a cool setting or line dry in the shade. Use warm-hot iron.

Merino

Machine wash on a wool cycle using warm or cool water. Use a recommended wool detergent. No bleach. No fabric softener, as it cover merino fibres, this may weaken their natural ability to control body temperature. Do not wring. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on a cool setting or dry flat in the shade. Use warm iron. Do not dry clean.

Nylon/Polyester

Drycleanable. Cold machine wash. May be tumble dry at low temperature. Use cool iron. Do not bleach.

 

Rayon/Viscose

Cool machine or hand wash. Do not twist or wring. Line dry in the shade. Warm iron. May be dry-cleaned. Tumble drying not recommended.

 

Satin Back Crepe

Gentle Machine Wash in cold water. Wash seperately. Do not soak, bleach or wring dry. Dry away from direct sunlight or heat. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron only. Dry-cleanable.

Silk

Dry clean only. It may be hand washed at your own risk, we would recommend a cold, gentle hand wash, using a silk friendly detergent. Do not bleach or tumble dry. If handwashing, dry in the shade. If needed use a warm iron.

Tencel/Lyocell

Cold machine wash. Do not bleach. Maybe tumble dried at a low temperature. Cool iron. Dry cleanable.

Triacetate

Drycleanable.

Velvet

Dry clean only. Do not spot clean. Never iron, iron is likely to flatten the velvet's natural pile. A handheld steamer can be used, with extreme care to remove creasing. Alternately, your fabric/garment may be hung in a steamy room, as the steam helps the creases relax. We recommend velvet be stored rolled not folded. Do not use clip hangers as these will mark the fabric.  

Lace/Jacquard

Dryclean only.
